Job Brief:
We are looking for a sales executive with direct experience in managing and selling a multi-department business at Target.  Your role is to identify business development opportunities, grow existing business, and manage the vendor partner relationship.

Sales executive responsibilities include working with multiple teams of professionals, building relationships and a network at Target.  A successful sales executive should have experience with a variety of office software (email tools, spreadsheets, and databases) and excellent communication, presentation-building, and presenting skills.  An analytical and action-oriented mindset is a must.

General Responsibilities:

  • Execute sales strategies
  • Collaborate on creation of business strategy, product presentations, promotional planning, and merchandising innovation
  • Prepare line reviews and ensure deliverables and expectations are completed timely and accurately
  • Complete gap analysis and identify white space opportunities
  • Retail Landscape analysis
  • Participate in long & short-term strategic planning
  • Forecasting and analysis
  • Identify, innovate, and communicate areas of opportunity
  • Act as liaison across internal team, vendor partners, and Target

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to ‘lead by example’ and work effectively within multiple teams
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint & Excel
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to project a professional and positive image
  • Strong organizational and planning skills in fast paced environment
  • Bachelors Degree required
  • Minimum of five years of direct Target account management experience
  • Understanding of Target’s Owned-Brand process preferred
