Hi Everyone! My name is Becky Dixon and I am an Account Manager here at JMC!

I am originally from Atlanta, GA and moved to Minneapolis this past February.  Yes, I own a winter coat, and yes, I will be able to survive an entire winter here! (Maybe) 😊 I moved to Minneapolis to live with my boyfriend and love of my life, Ross, who I met through mutual friends and our love of music festivals (pictured left). We have a cat, Walter, and a West Highland Terrier, Tumble!

Some of the things I love most in life are traveling, live music, hiking, exploring museums, riding horses, the beach, trying new foods, Auburn football, Atlanta United Soccer and most importantly my friends.  I’ve met some of my closest friends, along with my boyfriend, at a popular music festival in Tennessee called Bonnaroo.  It takes place on a farm outside of Nashville and you camp, watch live artists, explore art installations, and dance for a whole weekend under the summer sun – it is HOT but so much fun!  Our festival group keeps in touch throughout the year by traveling other places around the country and meeting up for hikes, sporting events, or other concerts!

Other than Bonnaroo, this year we traveled to Denver, CO to see music at Red Rocks, saw Mount Rushmore and camped in the Badlands on the drive back (pictured middle).  There were so many buffalo!  On my long term to do list is visiting all US National Parks, but Yosemite is my favorite so far (pictured right).  We also visited Las Vegas for Life is Beautiful music and arts festival and relaxed on the beach in Florida.

Next year we want to take a trip to Europe and explore France and Belgium.  I would also love to go back to Tulum, Mexico or head down to South America and visit the beaches in Brazil or hike up Machu Picchu in Peru.

Meanwhile, I’m learning to love the frozen North, and get more involved in the community here by starting to volunteer at a local horse rescue facility this fall.  What I love about JMC is how I was immediately welcomed as part of the team and everyone supports each other like family.  I love coming to work and feeling like I’m at home, even though I’m a long way away from the South!
